Often I try to pause in crowds, zoom into faces and write their chapters in my story and, a Sabzi Mandi, is one such place. So many stories walking in their own merry way. A young couple shopping for their weekly groceries before they embark on their daily corporate expedition later in the morning. Or an eight year old child experiencing the sheer exuberance of the mandi for the first time with their mother. I felt an old grandmother reminisce her childhood memories, with her granny in her heart, as she was passing on the same legacy to her ten year old grand daughter, who came with her every week, on a Thursday morning.
